Meet Early Years Inclusion Consultant: Sophie McCallum

I am a Positive Behaviour Guidance Facilitator & Early Years Inclusion Consultant at AQ. I have a Graduate Diploma in Education (Distinction) and an Advanced Diploma in Children’s Services.

I have been working in the Early Years Sector for over 25 years across different roles ranging from an assistant educator through to managing and mentoring Educational Leaders in services across the North Coast Region. I have been a qualified ECT for 17 years and ran my own Kindergarten program for 12 years as well as being an Educational Leader for 10 years.

I have a passion for working collaboratively with ECEC teams to support programs and practices that are responsive to the individual needs of children and their communities. As a teacher and Early years professional, inclusion and wellbeing for all children, their families and educators are at the heart of my own  practice.
