Meet Senior Early Years Inclusion Consultant: Kirsty Petersen

I am a Senior Early Years Inclusion Consultant and Positive Behaviour Guidance Learning Facilitator at AQ. I have a Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood).

I have been working in the Early Years Sector for over 25 years across different roles ranging from an assistant educator through to ECT. I have been a qualified ECT for 23 years and delivered a Kindergarten program for 9 years within a long day care centre.

I am excited to be working with ECEC teams to support staff to feel confident and empowered when working with the children in their service. I am passionate about using a strengths-based lens, supporting play, predictability and creating strong positive connections.

Thank you for inviting me into your service. I look forward to meeting your little learners and sharing knowledge and reflecting on practice alongside you and your teams.
