Meet Early Years Inclusion Consultant: Samantha Lonsdale

I am an Early Years Inclusion Consultant at AQ. I have a Bachelor of Learning Management (Early Childhood with Distinction) and have over ten years’ experience working in early childhood and primary settings.

Throughout my career, I have taught in primary schools and early childhood settings as a Classroom Teacher, Kindergarten Teacher/Director and an Early Childhood Teacher implementing a kindergarten program in long daycare services. During this time, I also engaged in the role of an Educational Leader supporting teams in reflective practice and early childhood pedagogy.

I am extremely passionate about a child’s right to play, and educators creating a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment for all children. This led me to undertake further training in inclusive practices for children with diverse needs, and most recently completing the role of an Early Intervention Practitioner to support young children with autism.

The early childhood sector plays a vital role in supporting positive outcomes for children and their families. I look forward to collaborating with your team to implement inclusive, high-quality practices for all children.
